My first breakfast out with mum and cousin, Kuching’s best Kolo Mee & Teh C Peng, only in Kuching you can find original tasteful ones, not like other plagiarized imposters.
I managed to meet up with Melvin & Bernard last Saturday just before Melvin is about to start his work as a doctor by Monday. Coincidently it was Bernard’s birthday that day as well.
We had lunch, a little chitchat and went to watch ‘The Descent 2’ without even having the slightest idea how part 1 went. Apparently the movie started off well until Melvin said: “Oh I watched this before… halfway only.”
Impressive for their gory, gruesome effect especially when those smeagol-wannabes from Lord Of The Rings creatures slashed open the carotid arteries of those cave explorers.
My first impression, how the heck did smeagol got a role in this?!
I had dinner with parents at some place, shame on myself for not knowing where. 10 months without breathing in Kuching’s air into my lungs and I’ve lost my sense of direction while driving around. Speaking of driving, I drove after 2 weeks back home. Productive much?
My dinner was Penang Char Kueh Tiaw that doesn’t taste any similar to the original Penang Char Kueh Tiaw since it doesn’t have oysters.
Originally wanted to have supper at Ah Mui Beef Noodle stall but eventually it was closed. I shall attempt on a more extreme food hunting session with fellow mates when they are back for their holidays.
Feels so weird to be the one of the only ones back in Kuching enjoying my holidays when seniors are all back in Volgograd and some even working.
LOL! Penang chair kueh tiaw is only found in penang, clearly stated! Hahaha its like eating KL's kolo mee?? same thing, not original
ReplyDeleteIs it the one with the cave and everything?
