Autumn Walk
Autumn was charmingly mesmerizing so we had an excursion with Russian teacher, Valentina.
![]()
The great statues of the previous Stalingrad War, we heard great stories from our Russian teacher.
![]()
She has such a great heart that she took Jacquelyn’s cookies to feed those poor petite birds; which I prefer calling them lunch.
![]()
Unfortunately, she’ll only be teaching our group for another month till I complete intensive period. I’ll miss her ‘go to the board whenever you’re wrong’ manner in class.

Autumn, how I wish to bring you back to Malaysia.

Meditation
A great word from Apostle Emmanuel Ziga who flew all the way from Seattle, Washington awaken my frail soul on the importance of meditation in a Christian’s life during church service today.
Note to self : Be Brave, Courageous & Observant!

Wouldn't it be nice if I could just torrent the entire Chemistry book and lecture notes into my brain just like how I torrent an entire season 1 of 'Chuck' for less than an hour.

Autumn Musings
![]()
It was all a sudden urge to have a walk with Mike & Eelin but leaves were all dead before we could shoot some photographs, photo session postponed till next week.
![]()
Chit chat till sun set and we strolled back to our hostels. Typical student life when it’s less hectic and next thing you know.. BAM! A hard smack on your face reminding that you have a truckload of work to do.
![]()
There’s always a balance in life, like being a good person and simultaneously unknowing that we’re also being the evil one. Like a bisexual or hermaphrodite… Ok those paradox aren’t the best but… you get what I mean :)
![]()
I learned that it all comes back to what we say, think and do to achieve what we want.

Of Randomness

I dislike Gabrielle Jee for ditching me to rot alone in my braces world
I need to improve my English because I sent a birthday wish to Kay that sounded like this:
May yr ‘geniusness’ grow prosperously to be ‘geniuser’ and ‘geniuser’ and eventually become ‘geniusest’ among all ‘geniusest’
Paul, world-famous 'psychic' octopus, dies in Germany before I could flood him with my life questions like: “Will I graduate as a doctor?” “Will I be a plastic surgeon?” “Will I quit blogging?”
Now I need to find a pig or maybe our very own Malaysian Orang Utan as an oracle for my destiny.
Blackberry grew a brain for releasing a new version of Bold with a 5 megapixel camera yet still looks like a bulky Casio calculator.
I bought a new Adidas knit beanie which costs 1290 roubles for only 390 roubles.
I betrayed Smucker’s and fell in love with Nutella, also… I plan to visit Italy someday to get a 5kg bottle of Nutella because 350g is just not enough.

Trigger Monday
Been a while since I sat back and trigger my fingers to allow to vivify any motionless sheet of paper; apparently it happened in Russian class as you seen it from this picture above.
Failed to balance a chemical equation and miscalculated redox involving more than 48H+; nevertheless… I managed to pace up calculations in Thermodynamics but screwed theory part. Ironic isn’t it? The feeling of liking yet hating something.
This delaying is consuming way too much time than I had imagine, days passed too fast for Sundays to arrive and unknowingly… it swifts away silently with Monday smiling scintillatingly yet mischievously.
This brat is fun being in his anti social world, pfft

Self Needs
Self adjustment, self realization and self satisfactory and maybe in need of self-perfection.

Needs A Kick
Classes can be incredibly boring sometimes; boring to an extend that during ‘free talking’ sessions when I was obliged to come out with a topic to discuss, my mouth momentarily blabbered…
“Is it a bane for a girl to get married at young age?” instead of asking “when on earth is this bloody class ending?”
![]()
Since I dug out to use my camera once every a thousand time, I snapped candid shots during Russian class, it has to be Nina Arsevna’s class by the look on Carmen’s expression. Melancholy and hopeless, just like animal-eater Khor Leet Liang in his third year.
![]()
Even Dennis Boon had constipation as the class prolonged, couldn’t find the reason why time doesn’t flow in her class. I assume the witch chanting her way with her concoctions of potions in the lecturer’s staffroom.
Only sweet Kaliz, looking all bright and blissful in class, *slaps self* how can I sin by telling such lies. I’d rather listen to Bruno Mars and swipe my fingers playing Angry Birds in Russian class.
How’s life? For me, currently stress less and relaxing but much mundane and boring; needs a kick.

Birthday Post
We, Dennis, Mike, Eelin, Jacquelyn and myself celebrated seniors Shen Yew & Zhi Yang’s combo birthday with a bunch of other seniors.
![]()
We had a kiwi cheese cake baked by birthday boy Shen Yew himself. Too bad I had my braces on, hence I couldn’t chew the piece of biscuit at the bottom.

Things Purpled
My new found love towards purple was all arbitrary and unmethodical. Initially it was green but I realised that this hue clicks mostly with me. My purple hoodie and even my crimson red-purplish Polo scarf… and now this brat’s blog has also revamped into the colour purple.
Self pats for getting a 5 for my first Chemistry quiz, but then again slaps self back again since it only covers 2 basic chapters of calculations.
Classes for Saturday starts from 8AM till 4PM, rushed to Hiroshima hostel for MCSC annual meeting. Due to some inflicts and drama, I learned a lesson: “Always respect your seniors!” Sensitive issues shall be not be discussed here.
I always thought that internal conflicts only happened in politics but I was wrong, student councils and community board members in all these student associations experience more dramas and internal conflicts.
Where lies ‘respect’ and ‘unity’?
Had a nice pour out session with Kay in Seattle, salutes that this genius is amazingly taking Russian as her foreign language studies! Just like Lily Chong, Min Xin, Yap, Eelin and the rest attending free Korean classes.
I’m saving for a new scarf and a pair of kicks.

Bruno Mars - Count On Me
I'll sail the world to find you
If you ever find yourself lost in the dark and you can't see,
I'll be the light to guide you
Find out what we're made of
What we are called to help our friends in need
You can count on me like 1 2 3
I'll be there
And I know when I need it I can count on you like 4 3 2
And you'll be there
Cause that's what friends are supposed to do, oh yeah
Wooooh, Wooooh
That's what friends are supposed to do, oh yeah
You can count on me cause I can count on you
Wooooh, Wooooh
yeah Yeah
If tou toss and you turn and you just can't fall asleep
I'll sing a song
beside you
And if you ever forget how much you really mean to me
Everyday I will
remind you
Ohh
Find out what we're made of
What we are called to help our friends in need
You can count on me like 1 2 3
I'll be there
And I know when I need it I can count on you like 4 3 2
And you'll be there
Cause that's what friends are supposed to do, oh yeah
Wooooh, Wooooh
Yeah Yeah
You'll always have my shoulder when you cry
I'll never let go
Never say goodbye
You can count on me like 1 2 3
I'll be there
And I know when I need it I can count on you like 4 3 2
And you'll be there
Cause that's what friends are supposed to do, oh yeah
Wooooh, Wooooh
you can count on me cos' I can count on you

Smile, even if it's a sad smile, because sadder than a sad smile is the sadness of not knowing how to smile.

10.10.10
Ten things I did today:
1. Movie night with Mike & Dennis before sleeping at 2 but only recalled 3 of us partially sleeping while “Predator’ was playing.
2. Got myself a new room mate, Arabian I presume. Thank God he’s only staying for 3 nights. I greeted him at least.
3. Woke up at 11, started the day watching Gossip Girl.
4. Made myself Milo, skipped Russian church service.
5. Congratulated Eelin for winning 3 golden medals in badminton competition.
6. Watched Master Chef with roomies.
7. Went for a stroll at ‘Park House’ with Mike, Dennis, Eelin, Kaliz & Kenji.
8. Bought a purple scarf for Carmen for her birthday.
9. Had nice curry for dinner with Mike and stoned in front of the screen watching an extra episode of TVB drama with Eelin.
10. Brushed up Russian work and finished my day with cell group prayer with Johannes, Mike, Shawn, Giftson & Josephine.
and an extra No. 11 wishing Dr. Gabrielle Jee & Dr. Carmen Tham a great. Happy 19th Birthday!

Just A Dream
I miss those days where I used to dream so much, forgetting about reality. Now back to Chemistry
Monster Dash
I’ve ran across 134, 651km, my 70th time on my record for ‘Monster Dash’. It’s archetypal, nothing peculiar about this idiosyncratic yet surreal habit on playing my iPod Touch before I sleep. Read a few chapters on the ‘Holy Bible’, tried several attempts on ‘Angry Bird’ and ended up with ‘Monster Dash’ before I sleep.
Classes ridiculously hectic despite having only 2 subjects so far. Russian language is both tiring and petrifying especially when your teacher expects you to have almost perfect grammar and speaking skills. Chemistry on the other hand, requires my brain to operate 3 times faster than my group mates.
Nevertheless, I still have the passion and interest, which is vital and crucial. Don’t like it? Stop griping and nagging and start hitting the books. Classis suggestion never fails.
Visited the market after my medical check up for my ‘khachapuri’, particularly the best in this place but sadly they’re normally sold out. So instead of giving up like I normally do, I decided to request for another one. Amazing how this particular Russian woman showed so much kindness and hospitality and made 2 more for me after my 15 minutes of patient waiting.
Mike, Eelin & I had a long stroll. A really long and fruitful one indeed. It’s one of those moments when time just flies as fast and as swiftly as the autumn wind. I was desperate for one.

Who needs the internet when there’s so much in life? Classes, lectures, work, cell group and studying. God does work in mysterious ways, miraculously managed to survive weeks without permanent internet connection.
Most probably I’ll be moving to another hostel located kilometers away from my current one. Change is so drastic, this brat needs a change physically, mentally and spiritually.
Now tell me, which arm do you put into the sleeve first when wearing a jacket?

Delay, Not Deny
People need something or someone to fasten themselves to, in order to reassure themselves that they are real. There’s so much need in life that we tend to loose track on what is adequate, lost on where lies the border of satisfaction.
Simply… Does gratitude exist only when our needs are fulfilled?
I always asked myself, have I really got what I needed?
No, cause’ there’s too much in life that we need; without self conscious all our so called needs transform into wants or worst.. desperately wanting something.
It is God that determines whether we receive what we need and what we want. At times He delays it but that doesn’t mean that He denies our desolated heart.
“ If we endure, we can also reign with Him, if we deny Him, he will also deny us. If we are unfaithful, He remains faithful, since He cannot deny himself ”
2 Timothy 2: 12-13

Back In Volgograd
I’m finally back in Russia, far away from my humble lodging home where I rot, eat, sleep, die and then revive back again. Scattering my foot prints everywhere without even needing the slightest nano effort to use my brain.
It was fun not studying and thinking.
![]()
I had a short lunch with a couple of friends at Grand Cafe. We had pizza, pastas and milk shakes.
![]()
Mike ordered some toast with cheese spread, looks like part of the human body. Just before you accused that I’m a pervert, I was mentioning about the white blood cells.

It’s a nice feeling back here, classes are extremely hectic as in finishing classes at approximately 4 six days a week. So far only those under MARA scholarship are here with us. Anticipating more arrivals from JPA and other bodies.
I haven’t settled down since everyone is waiting for our approval letters from the university regarding hostel. The previous internet company that my hostel subscribed to was shut down last month so now I’m required to register under another new company.
With our first J.E service that I attended today, it made me feel like home once again :) God is great.
