Driving, Jogging & Pancakes

I’ve finally settled down with all my driving lessons, side parking, 3 point turning and slope, currently practising my diminishing patience while awaiting for my driving test around March. Utterly slow. My instructor had already asked me to drive on the road on my first lesson, being like a blind chicken in the middle of a football I still managed to survive the hectic traffic. Well, at least I know how difficult it is for daddy to be my driver all this while. My instructor allowed me to speed up to 80km/h until 90km/h [ which is definitely a first time for me ]. Yet, there were still millions of large lorries and trucks even some motorcycles that overtook me. I still loathe the part that I’m supposed to stop my engine and pull the hand break in the middle of a slope then try to start the engine and move on again. Talking about adrenaline rush there, I could always imagine myself being unable to control the clutch and causing the car to roll down backwards knocking other vehicles. Sadly, dad only allows me to drive around the neighbourhood or nearby shop lots since I do not own my ‘P’ license yet. On the bright side, better free load and fully utilize all the ‘drivers’ I have now before they want me to drive on my own after I got my license.

F.Y.I I’m making plans on living healthy lifestyle now. Dig trough my refrigerator and I had in mind to make daily salad. Moreover, I’m jogging every evening either with mum or with a gang of friends [ thanks to Ling Ying’s idea ], haven’t decided whether to go for badminton with Kim and Wui Siong or not. As you can see, my lethargic, compulsively sluggish bones have not completely been rejuvenated or renewed yet.

IMG_0517-tile Did I mentioned that I’m doing daily cooking now ? Experimenting with mum’s cook books. No serious baking tough, mum insisted that I’ll be like a toddler messing up her precious baking utensils if I do so. [ ATTENTION: JEMUEL & NICOLE, I DO COOK !!!!! ]

Here’s a great song I got from Alex

SMS & Exasperation

Sometimes texting with someone can be really exasperating, especially when they’re sending gibberish and crap messages. Call me lethargic? Call me insincere? My tolerance is diminishing.

#$%& : Woke up already?

Me : [ Ignore ]

#$%& : [ few minutes later] Busy ?

Me : [ Ignore x2 ]

#$%& : [ few minutes later again ] Still busy ?

Me : Yes, having tuition

I conclude all this with a 4 letter word - SIEN

Simple Plan – Save You

Take a breath
I pull myself together
Just another step till I reach the door
You'll never know the way it tears me up inside to see you
I wish that I could tell you something
To take it all away

Sometimes I wish I could save you
And there're so many things that I want you to know
I won't give up till it's over
If it takes you forever I want you to know

When I hear your voice
Its drowning in a whisper
It's just skin and bones
There's nothing left to take
And no matter what I do I can't make you feel better
If only I could find the answer
To help me understand

Sometimes I wish I could save you
And there're so many things that I want you to know
I wont give up till it's over
If it takes you forever I want you to know

That if you fall, stumble down
I'll pick you up off the ground
If you lose faith in you
I'll give you strength to pull through
Tell me you won't give up cause I'll be waiting if you fall
Oh you know I'll be there for you

(Ahahaha)
If only I could find the answer
To take it all away

Sometimes i wish i could save you
And there're so many things that I want you to know
I wont give up till it's over
If it takes you forever I want you to know
(Oh)
I wish I could save you
I want you to know
(Ohohh)
I wish I could save you (oh)

Eden Lake

S-U-C-K

I was anticipated to watch this movie after I had a glimpse on the trailer, dragging along Wui Siong since most of them couldn’t make it to the movies with me to catch it. Filled with anticipation yet this movie only ended up with projectile vomits and splattered cow poop – I was deceived by the so-called ‘tantalizing’ trailer. The gory effect is there, but all I could recall was laughing through the whole movie with Wui Siong! I bet others would do the same since most of the viewers only put of ‘sigh’ after the show. Full of filtered and cut scenes, illogic story line and a whole load of gory effect, I conclude that this movie is sucky [similarly to ‘House]

curious_case_of_benjamin_button_ver9At least this movie was great to watch, meaningful and most importantly worth it. More and more gibberish movies will be up, has anyone in the film industry been struck by idiocy or has the world just turned upside down? I shall be ravenously patient for the next great coming.

From Grandma’s Recipe

MSN-ed with Bernard, Kath, Ian and Angelina last night, Skyped with Eddie till 3.00 morning last night, I’m starting to realise that I’m more of a nocturnal than a diurnal. Eventually my biological clock woke me up by 10 AM, 7 hours of inadequate sleep results my current panda eyes and compulsively cadaverous state of mind and body.

Yong Tau FuI decided to make ‘Yong Tau Fu’ based on grandma’s recipe, a tradition that I simply couldn’t mastered like the ones grandma used to make.

Pork ChunksThis came simultaneously after I discovered some pork in the refrigerator, seasoned with salt, pepper, oyster sauce, a drop of tabasco sauce and they’re ready to be grilled. Taste wonderfully as a mini sized pork steak.

Bernard is still complaining endlessly about his boring life (referring to the infinite number of ‘sien’ he used on msn) , I sent him a link [here] and said: “If this you still say boring.. can go die already.”

Camwhore Retards

Exhaustion, feeblenes and getting my bones-wearied for the day. I called Nicole and Amanda out to pay Jemuel a visit since he’ll be moving soon. I express my “outpouring gratitude” [insert sarcasm] once again to Amanda for making me waited ravenously patiently with an approximate 1 hour for Nicole to come pick me at Eddie’s place after dropping by at her place. She gave me a gibberish excuse of not being capable to leave her maid alone at her house while being outing, thus she has to wait for her brother to come back just to keep an eye on her maid.

“I was deliberately facing a bloodshed between my inevitably lack of patience and extreme rage.”

CAMWHORE 1 CAMWHORE 2

Nicole seemed to lost her skills in camwhoring, resulting a natural blurred effect. Photoshop not needed then.

I brought my camera but it was compulsively appalling that I had forgotten to recharge the battery and hence it died before we could even camwhore. Dismayingly, taking desperate measurements – we camwhored using 3.2 and 2 megapixel cell phones. Too bad Amanda wasn’t able to camwhore with us after she received Larry’s phone call. SKATER BOY & BRAT

Knowing you for as little as 3 years you’ve shared with me your bizarre interests, from skateboarding to listening to Artic Monkeys music and soccer – obviously they’re worlds apart from me. Not forgetting reading “Top Gear” magazines during History lessons and imaging that we might be future Adidas ambassadors pimping my Mercedes SLK and your Lamborghini !!! LOL .

JEMUEL & 1

My best friend who sat in front of me for 3 years, lab partners for 3 years, prefects for 2 semesters and utterly lots more! I’m surely going to miss you dude!!

Happy Birthday, Nicole ! Happy Birthday (16th Feb) to the lady with a “Royal Crown”

Happy Birthday Nicole !

Valentine’s Day

Valentine's Day

Valentine’s Day holds immense importance and anticipation for those in love, I guess lovers from all walks of life anxiously waits for this special season as it gives them an opportunity to express love and gratitude for their beloved ones. On the other hand, people may also be “blinded” and end up burning money buying their partners lavish gifts that would cost an arm and a leg.

I google-ed some fun facts and superstitions about Valentine’s Day.

  • On Valentine’s Day, the first guy’s name you read in the paper or hear on TV or radio will be the name of the man you will marry. (Then the world will be infested by homosexuals and females craving to find names like Brad Pitt, David Beckam or Bill Gates etc.)
  • If you see a squirrel on Valentine’s Day, you will marry a cheapskate who will hoard all your money.
  • If you see a goldfinch on Valentine’s Day, you will marry a millionaire. ( I better start finding one XP)
  • If you see a robin on Valentine’s Day, you will marry a crime fighter. (Batman ? Spiderman? Or Superman with his underwear outside?)
  • If you see a flock of doves on Valentine’s Day, you will have a happy peaceful marriage. (Plus extra dove droppings on your face)

Dad’s invited to some dinner tonight, thus I’m spending Valentine’s dinner with mummy at Manhattan Fish Market instead! Unless I’m invited by my so-called “girlfriend” – Hayden Panettiere. Dang! She’s gorgeous. Happy Valentine’s Day to all!

A Love Letter

love letter A form 1 cousin of mine came back home and told me she got a love letter by an anonymous guy. Kids nowadays… What concerns me is… he actually asked some classmate to help him write then pass it to my cousin. Rather amusing for people who doesn’t value the vital role played technology in this era of globalization – Instant Messaging via MSN or sending text messages (sms). Instead he wrote a letter.

Noticed the crumpled effect? It’s not photoshopped, just simple human action done by my cousin for being rational.

I’m starting work tomorrow as a part time tuition teacher for primary 3 & 4.

Short Update

I’m too desperate for books nowadays, as a matter of fact I do have a list of desired books I’m truly dying for: Prisoner Of Birth by Jeffrey Archer, Brisingr (Inheritance Book 3) by Christopher Paolini, The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini and Mercy by Jodi Picoult. However, whenever I take a stroll to MPH or Popular and strive ravenously hard to coax dad to get me one, it will definitely end up with rejection, dismally.

Daddy: Why do I have to waste my money buying you books costing 30 plus that you can eventually finished up in a day? Not worth it.

Thus, I end up getting 3 books from the library. It’s the last approach to get my hands on any readable materials before my brain detonates due to sheer monotony and unreasonably approaching pressure from my unavoidable habit of over-thinking. These books seemed to be ancient historic artifacts from the ‘wrinkled’ pages and ‘tanned’ tone.

books from library

I ask dad to drop by at Boulevard to do some grocery shopping. Bumped into Jeffrey and his friend, and some Batu Lintang friends. Unexpectedly, I met cousin Karen together ‘someone’ *blinks* Jeffrey and I went to approach by surprise. Her expressions portrays a million words. *Ahem ahem* ozymandiasWent back around 6 in the evening and bathe Ozymandias, his unbearable stench after a week without bathing. Had a simple dinner with the family since its Chap Goh Meh.

wild child

I went over to Kim’s place and ended up watching ‘Wild Child” with her. Eventually the DVD ‘died’ before the story could end, “Great!” One of the cons of purchasing pirated stuff. Kim keeps on repeating: “Welcome to Malibu… bi-a-tch!!!” Not bad for people who are too desperate for a laugh.

Growing Up & Artwork

hansley's artwork Drawn at 2.30 AM

Growing up is never easy. You hold to the things that were. You wonder what’s to come. But it is time that we knew it is time to let go of what had been, and look ahead to what would be. Other days. New Days. Days to come. The thing is, we didn’t have to hate each other for getting older or for forgetting each other. We just had to forgive ourselves for growing up.
