Spaghetti & Meat Balls

I googled a recipe on home made spaghetti sauce and meat balls, so I decided to give it a try. Got myself some fresh tomatoes, tomato paste, garlic, onion, red pepper, carrot, cheese, thyme and basil for the sauce. I was prepared to kill my phalanges; mincing and dicing pork seriously drained a load of energy. Until I realised there's a label saying that my blender is capable of doing the job for me, dumped pork, salt and pepper into my Express blender, press the button and all the termination begins within. Technology is meant to be loved. Rolling meat balls and deep frying them is hard work, oil splatters sparking my skin and the inevitable heat. Luckily the end product of combination between sauce, meat balls and spaghetti deserved a 'thumbs up'!

I changed my layout again, annoyed by codes and editing headers and background. Suddenly felt that the previous one was overly messy and piled with distractions. This one is clean, inviting and breathing [ fonts grew fatter too ]. 3 times blog makeover in less than 2 weeks, I seemed to be affected by her.

I've got 2 translation done; 3 documents finished typing and one more pending document. Credit goes to Kay who helped me a whole bunch with the translation, I owe her a meal.

What Happens In Heaven

Somehow I screwed up my life for a day, for once I felt really bad. Are we cool, bro ? I need meditation from everything that collapsed on me. Got an e-mail from a friend, it's so true.

I dreamed that I went to Heaven and an angel was showing me around. We walked side-by-side inside a large workroom filled with angels. My angel guide stopped in front of the first section and said, " This is the Receiving Section. Here, all petitions to God said in prayer are received. "

I looked around in this area, and it was terribly busy with so many angels sorting out petitions written on voluminous paper sheets and scraps from people all over the world. Then we moved on down a long corridor until we reached the second section.

The angel then said to me, " This is the Packaging and Delivery Section. Here, the graces and blessings the people asked for are processed and delivered to the living persons who asked for them. " I noticed again how busy it was there. There were many angels working hard at that station, since so many blessings had been requested and were being packaged for delivered to Earth.

Finally at the farthest end of the long corridor we stopped at the door of a very small station. To my greatest surprise, only one angel was seated there, idly doing nothing. " This is the Acknowledgement Section " my angel friend quietly admitted to me. He seemed embarrassed

" How is it that there is no work going on there?" I asked. "So sad, " the angel sighed. " After people received the blessings that they asked for, very few send back acknowledgements."

" How does one acknowledge God's blessings ? " I asked

" Simple," the angel answered. Just say, "Thank you, Lord. "

" What blessings should they acknowledge ? " I asked.

" If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead and a place to sleep you are richer than 75% of this world. If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish, you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy. "

" And if you get this on your own computer, you are part of the 1% in the world who has that opportunity. " Also...

" If you woke up this morning with more health than illness... you are more blessed than the many who will not even survive this day. "

" If you have never experienced the fear in the battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation... you are ahead of 700 million people in the world. "

" If you can attend a church without the fear of harassment, arrest torture or death you are envied by, and more blessed than, 3 billion people in the world. "

" If your parents are still alive and still married... you are very rare. "

" If you can hold your head up and smile, you are not the norm, you're unique to all those in doubt and despair. "

OK, what now ? How can I start ?

If you can read this message, you just received a double blessing in that someone was thinking of you as very special and you are more blessed than over 2 billion people in the world who cannot read at all.

Wish List

To whom all this concerns, here's my birthday wish list. I am relatively kind and considerate enough to list it down so that you guys do not need to crack your brain thinking of the best birthday gifts. Tee hee~

1. Bugatti Veyron

Obviously this piece will be the one I desire the most. Costing only $1,700,000 it's a vehicle too perfect to be true. A gift that is the most expensive, most powerful and fastest street-legal production car in the world. It can actually speed up more than 400km/h. Consider it on my top favourite on my wish list.

2. Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren

If a Bugatti Veyron appears overpriced, I certainly wouldn't mind hitting the roads on a this. Its slightly larger and wider compared to an SLK. This Anglo-German super car jointly developed by Mercedes-Benz and McLaren Automotive is indeed gorgeous.

3. Alienware M17

An Alienware would please my cravings in extreme gaming. Intel® Core™2 Quad and Extreme Processors, Dual Graphics, Dual hard drives.. what can I require more for my gaming binge. Simply perfect!

4. Macbook Pro

I shall resume my education, thus I'll need a proper laptop. Macbook Pro has 320GB Serial ATA hard drive, & NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT graphics processor... Impressive I would say. With Mac OSX, probably it will satisfy my needs, since I show abhor towards Windows so much.

5. Nokia N97
Any form of civilization requires communication, thus I'll truly appreciate if I could grab my hands on this precious thing. N97 with a 3.5 inch wide screen touch screen plus the full QWERTY slideout keypad will please my fingers to the max. 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss Tessar lens and dual LED flash requires no need for me to carry along a camera while 'stalking'.

6. HTC Touch Diamond 2

This is a true beauty. A perfect companion to keep me in the loop, another way it helps me accentuates my sense of style. Sleek, elegant design fused with powerful capability for my fingertips. Its awesome!

7. Sony DSLR-A900

Being a partial photo enthusiast looking for traditional SLR performance with the added benefits of digital photography, I seriously demand this in my list. It is designed to deliver ultra-fine picture quality with the world’s highest resolution, 24.6-megapixel!! Unbelievable! Now.. every single picture will be flawless and professionally taken, who needs a degree in photography when I've got my hands on this.

8. Amazon Kindle 2

This gadget is indeed a helping hand. I don't need to carry mountains of books, killing my lethargic hands or torturing my tired eyes. Instead of flipping, I'll be clicking stories from its screen. I shall abhor to tree-demolisher, saving nature at the same time. I'm such a tree huger.

There, 8 most wanted items for my 18th birthday! For now, the best birthday present would be a blessed loving family, to remember and remembered by friends, stop screwing my bro, and most of all a JPA scholarship to pursue my degree in Veterinary Science.

Happy Birthday, Gavin Wu (28th April )

I Turn 18

I'm officially 18. A step behind adolescent, getting closer to adulthood. My birthday turned out to be a blast after all ^___^

Skyped with my long-time-no-see Aussie friend for 3 straight hours.

Alex : Brat!!! I simply cannot believe that you're turning 18 soon. No offence but obviously your age and your looks is so not compatible. It's more like errmmm.. a 13 year old kid claiming to be an adult you know!!

Me : That is so not true, believe it or not I'm turning 18 man!!! Gosh, felt like an adult already!

* Clock stroke 12.00AM *

Alex : Ohhh Myyy Goodnesss!!! Happy Birthday BRRAAATTTT !!!!!!!!!!!

Me: Argh.. Thanks but then I demand you removing that despicable label as my birthday present. I'm 18, thus no more a brat you know.

Alex : Brat! You know you're actually legal to do soooooooo many stuff now that you're officially 18.. you see arr... * inserts an imaginary list of gibberish after-18-legal-list as
shown below *

  1. Drinks in pubs and nightclubs
  2. Get married without parents' consent
  3. Watched porn legally without doubt or guilt * Repeated by dirty minded male friends when testosterone gush strikes*
  4. Vote for next election round in US
  5. Legally hit the road
  6. One night stand with anyone legal from the opposite sex = ="""
  7. Purchasing tobacco
  8. Appearing in pornographic materials
  9. Signing names and buying stuff via internet
  10. Donating body to science
Apart from receiving bombarding birthday wishes from all my friends and cousins, Skyped with Jemuel till 4AM.

Jemuel : Oh ya, Happy Birthday dude! Don't worry you're still young.

Me : 18 already. Goodness I feel like an adult already. And AND AND!!! I'M NOT EVEN AN INCH TALLER YOU
KNOW!!

Jemuel : *Laughs + a million 'effective' ways to grow taller *

Me : Don't laugh! You still owe me an iphone and since you're doing Architecture.. OH MY GOSH!! YOU OWE A HOUSE DUDE!!!!!!!! Damn, better settle your debts by the time you're back here!!

Jemuel : * Laughs again *

I was amazingly invited out on my birthday along with Gabrielle, Jonas, & Stefan. Still waiting, Gabrielle called and said that they were waiting outside Green Gallery, until I suddenly realised that I had forgotten to tell them I'm actually waiting at 4th mile Expert Food Court instead of the one located at BDC. Bummer! Jonas managed to came all over to 4th mile to pick me, Gab was there to wish me Happy Birthday and with 4 of us in his Atos our journey continues. Next destination, Trinity Methodist Church to meet up with Lilian to witness Enoch Fernando's instrumental piano concert. Alas! It was already 7.40PM. With full confidence, Jonas who was supposedly driving us there, ended up in Kenyalang Park.

Gabrielle : Why are you driving here?? You're heading to St. Faith Methodist Church!!!!!!!! [ as she turns hysterical loosing her head ]

Jonas : Eh You mean that is St. Faith?? Not Trinity Methodist ??

Gabrielle : S.T.R.E.S.S + pressing her phone vigorously [ poor n95 ]

A gem for my birthday night

After receiving directions from a church member collaborating with Stefan's 'GPS' to Ellis road, We arrived at 8.30PM. I was astounded that it actually took us 40 minutes to reach. Not forgetting also, infinite jokes about 'concert endings' and 'directions' on our way there. The concert was breath taking but it ended at 9.30PM and the greatest part was we actually sat at the 4th row despite our 1 hour belatedness; additional privilege from birthday boy maybe?

A plate of Cha Kueh enigmatically appeared on our table, and Jonas wrongly paid for it since he thought one of us ordered it.

We head to Open Air Market to grab supper after the concert, this time with a human 'GPS' thankfully we didn't get lost. Jonas & Stefan audaciously sung a Happy Birthday song to me, honestly I first thought it was a lame joke but then they did sung *cheers*. I recalled clearly about one of us claiming to be hungry, higher probability it was Stefan who was desirous to eat since the plate of Cha Kueh gradually moved towards him.

* Plain ice arrived *

Me : * Glaring at Jonas' bowl of pain ice * Why on earth are your ordering plain ice ??

Jonas : I tell you guys... [ inserts compliments of his bowl of plain ice ]

Gabrielle & I decided to try Jonas' well recommended bowl of plain ice. Didn't appear to be appetising but who knows, looks maybe deceiving. Appallingly, it turned out to be plain shaved ice, with sugar syrup, countable barley, bits of bloody jelly that I had to remove them and a few slices of dates that I somehow decided to 'abandon'.

By the way, it actually took the similar time for Jonas to chow down a bowl of ' scrumptious' plain ice, Cha Kueh, siaw bee and a bowl of beef noodles for Gab to finish a bowl of plain ice - some people just eat extremely fast. Jonas' sense of direction miraculously improved after he consumed food. I was sent home safely in one piece. I got Gab's text message by 1.05AM, relieved everyone made home alive.

My 18th birthday was adventurous, amazing and awesome. Thanks to everyone, it all adds up to the final piece to my birthday puzzle.

Apocalypse

Apocalypse, a full stop to earth and all human race ?

I sense flame in the skies. My epidermis was critically sizzling, scorched by intense high temperature. Humidity along with heat, perfect combination to escalate the current disastrous catastrophe. Incandescently fatal, how long can this pitiful earth survive?

I had to decrease my air conditioner's temperature to 18 degrees now due to the current burning weather. Everyone is having mild fever, influenza or migraine. A sign of ageing or is it just typical changes after failing a vigorous battle with nature. I'm beginning to sense that my immune system is deteriorating each day, soon I'll be weak and flaccid but it makes not much difference to my current condition as an animated zombie; barely alive.

Somehow I'm annoyed, irritated and loosing my patience. It makes me miffed, moreover I find it irksome, obviously infuriated and boiling mad. Nothing to do with the weather, men-made for this one.

Friday 13th

I watched Friday 13th yesterday with Wui Siong, originally we were supposed to watch Fast & Furious until we changed our minds after realising that the price never dropped. Thriller has always been my favourite. I just realised Star cinema is undergoing renovation, galaxy wallpaper gone leaving it plain dull.

5 people were brutally mutilated within the first 30 minutes, exaggerating much? Then another bunch of people went to that area called Crystal Lake and the massacre began once more. Honestly the venue and timing do stood parallel to Eden Lake; only difference is this worth my tickets and the other worth a pile of dog poop.

A bunch of imbecile Ah Liens and Ah Bengs arrived late for the movie. Drama began as they were acting like boisterous retards booming along as everyone was indulging in thriller. Out of the blue some unknown guy shouted " OOoooiii !!!! " at them, minor earthquake compared to the 6.0-magnitude disaster landed on Afghanistan. At least it shut them up.

Again, the ending was hanging. Killer's body was hurled into a lake and 2 seconds before the show finished, he burst from beneath the water and 'the end' - One of the cons watching movies in the cinema is that steamy scenes were cut off and foul words were partially censored, they believe Malaysians have mindsets as pure and innocent as angels - BUMMER! Still less eerie and bloodcurdling compared to Japanese horror movie.

Hill Walk

One must take a break to keep one sane. To breathe in and appreciate clean fresh air; to glance at God's creation, so precious and inviting; to alleviate pressure due to mundane lifestyle. I took mine last Thursday and walk the hills with a few friends. Where is nature in this urban area? It's probably the only breathing space I know.

I reached the top, and realised that all things are artificial for nature is the art of God. The sky is slightly patterned by cirrus, gleaming through the timid branches of these trees. each blade of leaves on them has its spot on earth whence it draws its life, its strength; and so is man rooted to the land from which he draws his faith together with his life.

The trees seemed excited. Bowing to the roaring storm, waving, tossing their branches in glorious enthusiasm like worship. But though to the outer ear these trees are now silent, their songs never cease.
The one and only strong tree that stood statically with strength and might. Aged shown as its veins twirled around its trunk. Call it wise? I pity it for enduring the pain that we cause. Ants only climb to the top and get their good tidings from here. Life is pulsating within it.

Flowers... are a proud assertion that a ray of beauty outvalues all the utilities of the world. And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. However, these durian flowers seemed to be covering the path I stepped across to. Lying there lifelessly, unnoticed by people who stride upon them.

Lets not put insects into oblivion. They may be less likeable from its countenance but still nature invites us to lay our eye level with her smallest leaf to ponder upon one of His creations. All this sum up to a fine work of art. God's art.

Me : Owh.. What a surprise

Kay : What a surprise of you to be surprised of me being surprised of you being surprised. Yes I know :) I'm surprised that you know :P

I went to search for my application status regarding matriculation. Glad that I saw the words

"Dukacita dimaklumkan anda tidak berjaya"

PS : I lost my optical mouse, got pancakes over-tanned [ blame the television for seducing me ], got my brain disintegrated and failed to unlocked a padlock and transmuted into a clamp in a conversation on the phone after midnight. Retard much?

Cats & Dogs

I remembered declaring to Gabrielle and Gavin a week ago that I preferred cats than dogs, asserted that I showed slight detestation towards canine species aka dogs. However, my neighbor's dog had been loitering around my place and I suddenly realised the veiled adoration in it. I took my camera and snap a few photographs of it - somehow it's likable.

Moving on, Kikuri has been missing for a week. The sadness and anguish was inevitably intolerable. The first thing I prayed to God on Good Friday:

" Heavenly Father, I pray that Kikuri will return home as soon as possible in one piece since there're devious barbaric canine species around the neighborhood... "

The next morning I woke up, my dad showed me Kikuri back in one piece! Miracles do happen when we believe. Works for me a million times already and now I've got God behind my back.

KPLSPM Interview

I actually went for the KPLSPM Interview, shocking or as astounding much that one may even suffer from severe heart attack or sudden cranial collapse moreover a major vain outburst.

I was able to tag along with Ling Ying that morning, otherwise I would have just erased this interview date permanently from my imaginary calendar embedded in my mind which I temporarily labeled as " CRAP ". I'm not showing any sense of hatred or loathe towards a career in teaching. No doubt that teachers play vital roles in educating future generations, nurturing every single student to learn and grow up to be wise and educated -
It's like a saint. But still, personally interest overcomes everything, I show zero interest in a career in teaching as I show equal interest in medicine or veterinary science.

I met a few friends during the interview, Kuching High, SMK Stampin, SM Sains, St. Theresa etc. I feel alienated compared to some others who really wanted this scholarship, took out my phone and did a wifi scan and realised there's unlocked wireless available. Despite the appalingly tiny screen on my phone, I went online instead of preparing myself to face the interview.

The interview was overall boring and monotonous. It was akin to a farmer leaving all his 7 ducklings in a chicken coop uncared off, letting them running wild like a retard. The interviewer just dumped us a question which was too specific and all 7 of us seemed to repeat lines over and over again until I nearly puke due to the unbearable monotony. Then again I hardly speak; maybe 3 lines only. There were 2 sessions, English and Malay. I transmuted into a silent clamp and I swear I could just snooze off during the interview.

As I was about to extricate from the drab room, an interviewer reminded that I had forgotten to submit a passport-sized photo along with my application form and requested me to submit it within 2 days. Sigh.. Called up dad and he said there is no need to waste petrol to do so since I'm not interested in this course. I feel relief, a burden gone so no more thinking about whether I'm offered this scholarship or not. I believe God has better plans for me

Imagine me [ a teacher ] looking like this??

Quiksilver Wallet

I got myself a Quiksilver wallet after 2 months of part-time work.
But then dad paid with his credit card ^___^

All Shyt

I'm in the midst of reviving my laptop, adding another reason why it's meant to be dumped into the rubbish bin. It was sent for formatting last week, until I realised it wasn't equipped with an anti-virus system and several important software like Microsoft Office tools; call it idiocy? Once again, it was sent for repairing. However, things got even worst and I exploded in rage; to exaggerate a wee more I was akin to an erupting volcano - Demolition begins.

My files, 8Gb songs and movies, pictures of my friends and family - GONE
SHYT

I mentioned to him previously not to format my laptop again. But then all he replied was " I thought you ask me to format wor..." [ ASS HOLE ] Now I simply couldn't find any more reason to even switched on this shyt of mine. Pray that a macbook will fall onto my hands when I wake up next morning?

Moving on, dad drove to Spring to stock up food from Ta Kiong. Mum wanted to get sleeping shorts, I suggested F.O.S since they apparently do sell cheap and practical clothing. Dig through a myriad of clothing and mum got 2 pairs for less than RM50, and insisted me to try them on.

I entered the fitting room and was just about to close the door. Out of the blue, some imbecile bang the door several times shouting like an uncivilised psycho. I opened the door and an obese dumbass stood in front of me, barging into the fitting room and grab her handbag hanging by the side of the hooks. Then I realised she had left herhand bag inside the fitting room. She was cursing " boh ka si... got hand bag inside also cannot see [ in hokkien ] I retorted back " Bitch [ silently ] " Never in my life I encountered such an uncivilised dim-witted person. She obviously looked like some "o ba sang " using a cheap lousy handbag that I assumed beggars don't even wish to steal it from her.

SHYT TO THAT IMBECILE

I headed to Quiksilver department store to get a wallet. I saw a lady ordering the salesman to take out all the wallets from the glass shelves, flipping and examining every single of of them meticulously. Since I do not tolerate with impatience very well, I stroll around with mum to help her pick a Roxy handbag. 20 minutes passed and she was still coaxing her boy friend to choose.. [ pukes ] she's obese and her boy friend obviously reminded me of Amy Whinehouse with her drug-addict looks. 40 minutes passed, they left empty-handed leaving the poor sales man arranging all the wallets on the glass shelf.

SHYT - WASTED MY TIME

To elaborate more on my imaginary list of fury, someone has been using my "name" to comment on my friend's blog. Smearing my name by sending gibberish comments on her cbox. I shall abhor to cbox for now, being bloody useless for unable to prevent bothersome spamming or hacking. I wonder who's been ravenously "free" to smear my name among all the million people in this world. [ ASS ]

SHYT! My name is smeared

Sudden Feeling

Some people say the worst way to miss someone is when they are right next to you and you know you can’t have them. But it’s worse when you thought you didn’t want them anymore and then all of a sudden you realize you can’t live without them.

Previous 4 Days

I've been ravenously lethargic nowadays, is it due to the excessive daily jogging with my friends or is it a nature that my grey matters are not functioning properly indirectly causing me to suffer from impulsive fatigue; I'm turning into a living corpse.

My barely-alive laptop was sent for formatting [ BUMMER ]. By the time I got it back, I simply couldn't install MSN messenger and Windows Live Essentials which is crucial for me. Apart from that, Wifi is running at an intolerable speed of a snail. It takes more than half a minute to load Google homepage, more than half an hour to download a song from Ares and Torrent is killing my patience. All these are driving me in rage, I can see what are the main factors causing my lack in blogging nowadays. Epic fail with technology simply cause me to become haywired. Desperately needing a new laptop I strived so hard in coxing dad to get me one, apparently he has to wait for me to settle down in either form 6 or A Levels first to decide. [ BONKERS ]

I'm shortlisted for another interview for KPLSPM; a programme offering teaching courses to overseas. Fascinating much? I rebuff strongly. I just applied it after being forced by my dad with a shortgun over my head. I simply cannot imagine myself being a teacher in the future. Alex said I'm too evil; Gabrielle said I look too young for one; Vicky gave a psychotic laugh; Aaron said I might moles girls [ honestly he meant himself ]Though having an occupation as a teacher is like a saint, teaching young generations to be future pillars of one's country. It just doesn't apply on me, yet I'm currently working as a part time tuition teacher myself [ How ironic ] If I'm "unfortunate" to be given a schoalrship in teaching, is there a possibility to exchange it to fully loaded cash? My imagination drives me wild when I'm stressed.

Alice became miss-goodie-too-shoe and offered me "brilliant" answers via wall messages for my previous JPA interview:

1. A country lead by 2 leaders, agree or disagree?
uh, disagree? you don't see America having 2 presidents do you? I mean you won't see Obama sharing the spotlight with McCain. LOL

2. Why do you deserved this scholarship?
because throughout my life, people have told me 'no'. (and then you list all of the quotes or whatever) So I want to be given the chance to make something great out of my life and not end up disappointing everyone who believed in me when it seemed like everything was going downhill.

3. What would you probably do if you were not offered JPA scholarship?
Probably go kill myself. (HAHAHA, that way, they'd HAVE TO offer u the scholarship or else you would go & commit suicide and it'd be their fault. lol.)

On the bright side, I finally changed my blog layout - satisfied

JPA Interview

  1. Did some last minute preparation on latest issues internationally and locally; my printer was working 24 hours for a day featuring my television highlighting on random news.
  2. Woke up around 6.05AM and put on my formal wear. Honestly, I looked like a kid in adult's attire. I realised I haven't put on a tie since the last day I retired as a prefect.
  3. Arrived around 7.20AM, Sarawak State Library was partially flooded with students; at this moment it's difficult to differenciate between official workers there and JPA applicants.
  4. Met several friends and get to know a number of people from St. Theresa, St. Joseph, Green Road, Lodge, Arang Road & Sungai Maong. Nothing to loose meeting new people.
  5. I'm the first speaker in the last group [ 3 of us in my group together with Hong Jong & Gavin Wu ] and was interviewed by interviewers from panel 2, consisting a doctor, someone from the ministry of education and a member from JKR.
  6. My interview finished around 12 something, I'm cognizant I'm not a decent fellow towards patience due to my non stopping griping about boredom and escalating jitters.
  7. Called up my uncle to pick me up while chatting with Gavin, Yvonne & Ling Ying to ease away my boredom.
  8. Reached home around 2PM. Felt a slight disappointment about the interview after realising that my spoken Malay wasn't as fluent as spoken English.
  9. I'm already grateful to be able to reach this far, thanks to HIM. Pray & hope for the best.
