Quicksilver Pencil Case ???

The existence of Quicksilver pencil case still leaves behind zillions and gal-zillions of massive question marks in my brain, reverberating vigorously indeed. I’ve use my Body Glove pencil case for approximately 8 months and I guess it’s the perfect time for me to adjust into a new one. I cannot deny the fact that I get bored very easily and the attractiveness and exquisiteness of my possessions started to fade away although in a relatively short period of time.

Jemuel said that he checked the Quicksilver official website and there’s NOT a single trace of product on Quicksilver pencil case!!!!

That was kind of distressing but I’ve acquire the helpful hands of our modern society to help me find it – Friends!!!!!! Indeed I waste no golden opportunity and request my friends to seek for Quicksilver pencil case during their previous vacation in KL.

Azureen said that Quicksilver pencil case that I want was on discount, RM39.90. Black colour with metallic white scribbling….She saw that glorious thing at Midvalley.

Ok, great! That was the message that I received from her at 6.04:23 pm, Sunday. Overwhelming joy and tons of SMILES!!!!!!!! A very good start I would say, at least I know the place then I’ll ask *again* help from Jemuel to get it for me on his trip to KL end of this year. Eventually I cannot deny about my suspicious towards Azureen’s message. Who knows that the so-called Quicksilver pencil was actually Roxy or whatsoever? People turned themselves blind you know in the midst of having their shopping spree. Besides, I cannot ask her to get it on the spot because no cash transition happened between us before she left *dumbness*. As I was communicating to myself in my mind, my pre-suspicions were pitifully accurate.

According to Jemuel, Fiona went to KL and such a coincidence she laid footsteps in Midvalley TOO!!! But she said that there was NO SIGN OF QUICKSILVER PENCIL CASE!!!!!!!

Playing the game of logic now, two subjects who appear at the SAME venue with the SAME stuff appear to give me DIVERSE information *zillions and gal-zillions question marks reappearing*. At the moment, I’m rather confused on whether Quicksilver pencil cases are sold in the market or no also suffering from my utmost disillusionment. So I have to stick with my present companion – Bodyglove while waiting for replacement.

Yin and Yang

Recently, I have this enthusiasm and curiosity towards Yin and Yang. The concept is rather typical and notorious throughout the world, however I did a little research and this is what I got.

Yin and Yang (Simplified Chinese: 阴 阳; Traditional Chinese: 陰陽; Pinyin: yīnyáng) are generalizations of the antithesis or mutual correlation between certain objects or phenomena in the natural world, combining to create a unity of opposites. Liang Yi (Simplified Chinese: 两仪; Traditional Chinese: 兩儀; Pinyin: liǎngyí), also known as Yin-Yang or heaven and earth, have a similar meaning.
The dual concepts of yin and yang – or the single concept yin-yang – originated in ancient Chinese philosophy and metaphysics, which describe two primal opposing but complementary principles or cosmic forces said to be found in all non-static objects and processes in the universe. This paradoxical concept is the cornerstone of Taoism and traditional Chinese medicine.

Yīn (陰 or 阴 "shady place, north slope, south bank (river); cloudy, overcast"; Japanese: in or on) is the dark element: it is passive, dark, feminine, downward-seeking, and corresponds to the night. Yáng (陽 or 阳 "sunny place, south slope, north bank (river), sunshine"; Japanese: yō) is the bright element: it is active, light, masculine, upward-seeking and corresponds to the daytime.
Yin is often symbolized by water and air, while yang is symbolized by fire and earth. Yin (dark) and yang (light) are descriptions of complementary opposites rather than absolutes. Any yin/yang dichotomy can be viewed from another perspective. All forces in nature can be seen as having yin and yang states, and the two are in constant movement rather than held in absolute stasis.
Symbol

The Taijitu, Traditional Chinese: 太極圖; Simplified Chinese: 太极图; Pinyin: Taìjí tú; Wade-Giles: T'ai4 chi2 t'u2; literally "diagram of the supreme ultimate"), often referred to as yin-yang in English, is a well known symbol deriving from Chinese culture which represents the principle of yin and yang from Taoist and Neo-Confucian philosophy. The term Taijitu itself refers to any of several schematic diagrams representing these principles.

The taijitu represents an ancient Chinese understanding of how things work. The outer circle represents the entirety of perceivable phenomena, while the black and white shapes within the circle represent the interaction of two principles or aspects, called "yin" (black) and "yang" (white), which cause the phenomena to appear in their peculiar way. Each of them contains an element or seed of the other, and they cannot exist without each other. There are other ways that Chinese schools of thought graphically represented the principles of yin and yang, an older example being the solid and divided lines of the I Ching.

Wu Jianquan, a famous Chinese martial arts teacher, described the name of the martial art Taijiquan this way at the beginning of the 20th century:

"Various people have offered different explanations for the name Taijiquan. Some have said: 'In terms of self-cultivation, one must train from a state of movement towards a state of stillness. Taiji comes about through the balance of yin and yang. In terms of the art of attack and defense then, in the context of the changes of full and empty, one is constantly internally latent, not outwardly expressive, as if the yin and yang of Taiji have not yet divided apart.' Others say: 'Every movement of Taijiquan is based on circles, just like the shape of a Taijitu. Therefore, it is called Taijiquan.' Both explanations are quite reasonable, especially the second, which is more complete."

Punk Skull vs. Strawberry

Lo and behold, this is one of my so called “diverse” artwork I produced throughout this month. I proudly identify this drawing “Punk Skull vs. Strawberry” which I seriously have no idea why. It’s the fusion between punk, fluorescent and simplicity!!!! Source of inspiration…undefined, because I was paying my fullest attention of listing to my physics teacher explaining about Chapter 4 Physics related to Thermal Equilibrium. And out of the blue, I began doodling on a piece of paper using my gel pens and some high-lighters creating this artwork.

Based on its appearance I can say it myself that it looks kind of stupid but never mind because Hansley’s first law of art and design states that stupidity and free thinking in drawing is the foundation of creative art and design. *Don’t stop me, I’m swollen with pride*

MU Sling Bag

Finally I got my hands of my Manchester United (MU) sling bag!!! For your information, I’ve been eyeing on this bag for centuries and the best part is it only cost me RM89.90. I consider it the most bargain basement priced among my “sling bag list”.

Let’s see a Body glove would be nice but eventually it’s rather common as most of the teens seem to own it, plus the deign is appallingly ugly. Billabong is a great choice too however the designs do not seem to please me by 100%. Apparently Nike and Addidas were the top in my list, but understanding that I’m relatively broke recently and it usually cost more than a hundred bucks so I have to push them aside *sadness* At the end of the day I got an MU bag!!!

Last Spell For Potter

This is what I got for a couple of weeks ago, Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows. Obviously it’s the children’s cover; the main reason I chose it instead of the adult cover is because I have to complete the final touch of my collection in Harry Potter series. In this final instalment of Harry Potter series J.K Rowling unveils in spectacular fashion the answers to the many questions that have been so eagerly awaited.

The last volume of Harry Potter is again pricey and it cost me (it ought to be my parents actually because they paid for it) a handful of RM109.90. Ouch!!! That certainly burned my pocket. But, there a few friends of mine who got it for only RM88 or RM89!!! A difference of RM21.10 or RM20.10, THAT’S A LOT!!!!!!!!

The storyline is absolutely fantastic and it can seriously glue one’s eye to every single word contained in this book. However, I have to slightly oppose the motion on how great the book is because it does contain several boring chapters. The most distressing part is that HERMIONE GRANGER GOT MARRIED TO RONALD WEASLEY!!!!! *nuclear reaction* Although J.K Rowling confirms herself to be the mistress of storytelling; she is certainly poor in naming kids and toddlers I can see. She gave children names like Albus, Rosie, Hugo. But overall, I declare this book a great success but unfortunately it’s the end for Harry Potter.

The scar had not pained Harry for nineteen years. All was well.
