Exactly One Month

In exactly one more month, I’ll be done with finals.

In exactly one more month, I’ll be travelling to St. Petersburg with Mike & Dennis.

In exactly one more month, I’ll be heading back home.

In exactly one more month, I’ll meet up with mummy and daddy!

In exactly one more month, I’ll have a friend reunion.

In exactly one more month, I’ll be in cloud nine

At the mean time, life has just reached a turning point whereby everything just got shittier and suckier. Exams are around the corner, I broke BOTH my specs and now suffering with this which I had to glue with superglue. Been dreading to do shopping but I’m just too poor.

All my seniors are done with their exams EXCEPT US! Suck to the max I know. What’s more, final year seniors are leaving one by one… :(

*inserts a long list of profanities* I hate my life so much right now.

Can’t wait to get back to Malaysia to change my rotten broken specs! The ugliness of this spec is just not compatible to my awesome fringe and hair cut thanks to Dennis Boon.

First Graduation 2010

Graduation is not an ending, it’s only a beginning. Imagine taking your very first step into this real world, it’s virtual reality. No more fooling and juggling life in your own hands.

What’re more, it’s another new life as a doctor.

Photograph with Kuching doctor! Dr.Melvin Chung, also one of the best chefs you can find in Volgograd.

…with Dr.Tan and her sister who flew from London. Thanks for teaching us how to make butter prawns and cheese fish!

Cram & Puke

36657_1506060213515_1294575323_31418620_1219436_n

I was studying and cramming but half way I got stuck, it’s involuntary that my hands begun to take control and grabbed some random sheet of paper and started doodling. Notice how clear and un-neat the strokes are, but nevermind.

Been so busy yesterday attending 6th year seniors graduation ceremony, head back to hostel and went out again with Mike, Hsu Zane, her sister and Xun Jin for supper and only reached hostel by 11PM. Settled down and prepared for Jacqueline’s birthday and when it’s over it was already 1.15AM.

Official time for me to start studying chemistry, somehow my brain works miraculously and I finished all the nomenclature and drawing structures of organic compounds within half an hour. Do not ask me why, but sometimes it DOES works.

Screwed 2 questions for today’s chemistry independent work for aldehyde and cyclo group.

Screw nomenclatures and IUPAC!

75 questions of structure essays to study or biology and I’ve only covered till 19 after seating in front of my mac and bio books searching for answers. It’s mental torture especially when most of my seniors are done with exams.

Decided to take a retail therapy with Mike and head to ZARA since there’s a 50% sale but shit! NO SIZES AVAILABLE FOR ME.

Shall eat grass and cram my books like a drug addict for July, it’s gonna suck bad time.

Cherry Bomb

cherries I bought a week agoAgitation comes when we earthlings land on Mars; but then I ask myself, why bother? what’s all the hassle and hound? It doesn’t get into my way when aliens come across the boundaries.

Stefan's law, states that the total energy radiated per unit surface area of a black body in unit time is directly proportional to the fourth power of the black body's thermodynamic temperature. Black body, grey body, white body… does that bother Einstein? Certainly not.

[ Memorized too much of thermal radiation that I somehow swallowed that theory down my esophagus ]

In reality, my world through my bratty eyes… the truth is, they DO.

Just like green hulk a.k.a obese lady in 60’s yellow dress that I met in ‘Culinaria’ who bought 2 cutlets with beer and ate another whole packet of pastries, who does she think she is? Kamikaze attempt by blowing herself using food? Health awareness is desperately needed.

Forgotten to mention about freaks screaming and wailing arabic while walking down the hall or talking so madly loud that it pierced through my eardrums? It’s either the depressing fact that their larynx are severely impaired or another fact that they came from the amazon jungle.

Imagine dumping Tarzan in a city? Jaws opened wide and yadda yadda… jungle people behavior or mainly called ‘jakun’, it applies in this case too.

I am cognizant that I am overzealously judgmental, but in a good way. It’s like the living modern Socrates or Plato in the 20th century!

Now try imagine… You knocking down an unknown guy dead and ran away after that, date a hot chick or dude with 6 packs and realised that it was his/her uncle! What’s best… what if you were dating a drug dealer.

90210 season 2 just got better and better.

3-08

Finally I’ve settled down in my new room, from 2-03 to 3-08. all the packing, unpacking, repacking, shifting, moving, panting, perspiring ate up my entire night since I ended class around 5PM today. By the time I settled down it’s already 11.00PM. Goodness.

Dinner was a drumstick and salad plus sky juice. Sometimes I wish I was ‘Flash’ in ‘Justice League’ then I would be able to tidy everything up within seconds.

My new room has gorgeous vintage wallpaper and a huge table with drawer and a shoe rack to dump all my shoes! What’s best, I’m still sticking with Mike, Abraham and Dennis, my faithful room mates.

Just pray that we’ll be able to get this room until the next semester if the commandant stop messing with our lives. At the mean time, shall continue enjoying watching TVB and no study for today since I screwed up partially for my Anatomy control test today. Why? I forgotten prostate gland in the male urinary system.

I’d Rather Be With You

I need to be bold
Need to jump in the cold water
Need to grow older with a girl like you
Finally see you are naturally
The one to make it so easy
When you show me the truth
Yeah, I'd rather be with you
Say you want the same thing too

Daddy Post

A week ago, a friend asked me when is Father’s Day and I confidently told him that it was tomorrow, which ridiculously a week earlier. Anticipating Father’s Day a little wee too soon I supposed? My bad ^__^V Thank you daddy for inheriting part of your calculator brains, or else I would totally disgrace my own Chinese nation.

Thank you daddy for being superman flying here and there in your 4-wheel bring me ups and downs.

Thank you daddy for having the biggest heart, swallowing all my bitter complains.

Thank you daddy for bearing my lunatic obsessions and cravings.

Thank you daddy for efficient robotic hands which repairs almost every single damage.

Thank you daddy for all the support taking care of this little boy of yours.

Happy Daddy’s Day

Utmost Productivity

Chemistry has been good, getting familiar with Organic Chemistry. They used to be like strangers, or enemies; loathing me so much and myself despising them the same way too. A turnover and much cramming and now we're so madly in love. Okay maybe not in love, affection.

Went to guy some cherries with a few friends of mine, real pinkish red cherries; unlike those preserved ones back in Malaysia that are normally used as cake embellishments but in actual turned our stomach inside out. These are fabulously delicious I tell you.

Introduced by Sharifah, so far the best packet Cappuccino and tried out canned carbonated peach flavoured milk. Perfect combination to quench one's thirst especially during this unbearable heat wave.

Managed to regain motivation and studied a little of Anatomy in Lily's room, at the same time accompanying her since she was alone. Slept there till !AM then later continued watching soup operas till 6AM. Yes, I slept at 6 in the morning.

6 hours of sleep till 1PM, had a short breakfast and continue reading till 3PM then doze off till 6PM again. I'm such a pig.

Managed to get a free book shelf from Yijia and Anatomy tests notes from seniors.

I call this super productive considering the fact that I downloaded Joshua Radin's and Carolina Liar's album.

Sun Drenched

I feel like some pregnant lady recently, been having these massive food cravings lately. It’s simply ludicrous I tell you. I can dream about fries from McDonalds' to Sunny Hill ice-cream back in my hometown. The most recent one, homemade ‘bak zhang’ that I used to eat since young.

Weather’s been statically hellish, been burning my epidermis off. It can rise up to 39 degrees in my room, what’s worst than living in a life-size oven? I’m grilled. Heat wave has been making me feel dumber and dumber these days, blocks diffusion of knowledge into my cranium. Bummer!

Did some doodling while fishing my way during Russian class, blame myself for lack of discipline? No! Blame the weather for sucking away all my concentration.

I have Anatomy control test this upcoming Monday, just received exam questions predicted for finals; all in all 75 or more. Yes, life IS that great! Finals during this burning summer and next… St. Petersburg trip with fellow friends!

Church Picnic

Had an amazing time across Volga river to have a picnic with J.E members. It was located in this forest, cool, tranquil and serene. Blessed with fresh air and summer sun!

My second barbeque for this month. God knows how much toxins I’ve consumed during this month of June, detoxification needed!

We had so much fun with local Russians!

We had a great dip in the river with Clez posing as ‘Sea King’ and his ‘servants’

Witnessed some baptism [ not me ]. This is just a random photo with Clez and Keat Leong trying to drag me down the river.

J.E members, rather incomplete since Kelvin, Lily, Victoria, Anette and a couple more couldn’t make it

I really had a great time, a moment to reconnect with everyone especially during this month of exams where everyone’s been stressed and outworked. Relieved my tired soul.

Final picture before we head back

Panorama Museum

We had an excursion with our History teacher to the panorama museum. It was interesting listening to the great Stalingrad war that happened years ago in Volgograd.

The amusing thing was when she asked us whether we encountered such great wars that brought us to independence or not? I giggled to myself: “Yeah we did… we lost battles, overpowered by endless countries and never even managed to conquer even one tiny place and finally signed ourselves more contracts and tada! Independence.”

  Remnants during the war

We saw some toddler climbing up a canon and next thing you know, we found ourselves on top of everything

On trains!

Fixing

Ever experienced the moments when blood just doesn’t seem to flow into your brain? Okay, that sounds overzealously severe. What I mean is, ever encounter those moments when your brain just couldn’t seem to light up a bulb despite how much you squeeze, nip, grasp, flip it inside out?

It’s like as if your brain had just fallen into a black hole and you spontaneously transformed into an idiot.

Sadly I’ve encountered this tragedy recently, for example during Physics yesterday. I was observing my lecturer scribbling some formulas on the board *scribble scribble scribble*. The more she scribbles those formulas, the more I felt distant and soon enough to realise that I was already in Mars.

Bummer! I whispered to my friends behind me: “Are you guys seeing alien language with starts orbiting above your head or am I the only one being unable to understand what the crap is she writing?”

Dennis: “It’s okay you’re not the only one".”

Gosh! What a relief! Sometimes I do feel as if I’m the only idiot especially when I encounter a dead end while brainstorming. Nevertheless, I just have to accept the fact that our mind has limits. We can’t possibly understand every single thing at once? Who are we? Einstein?

Exams are approaching, I better get this rusted brain of mine fixed before I turned into a real idiot. But then if I were a flee brained, I’d probably hang myself. Before I do that, I would most probably think twice… Why? Cause’ I haven’t get my hands on the iPhone 4.

How can I possibly die just like that?

More On iPhone 4

Everyone’s been busting my Adium messenger about the latest iPhone 4, as a self proclaimed Apple addict I spare no one their freedom but to detonate their heads about this device.

It’s really a dream come true.

Specifications are all stunning, now one can be able to multi-task, create folders, improved camera with flash and front camera! I shall not elaborate on that.

Here’s a great video posted more than a million times on Facebook.

Apparently, it will definitely take sometime to jailbreak this piece. At the meantime, I’ll survive with my iPod and put this aside. Who knows in the future I’ll be carrying one of these? Finally an actual iPhone for this brat >.<

For those who just got their iPhone 3GS recently, yeah… you’d probably be busy digging your heart out through your rib cage.

Summer Outing

Perfect weather for a perfect outing, had a great BBQ session with awesome friends last Sunday. This was again planned weeks and months ago but finally we managed to get it done.

Found a spot to set up fire, had Areena & Sharifah being late for almost an hour till everyone was mad hungry but fortunately Mike prepared sandwiches for appetizers before we could feast among ourselves.

Finger-licking-good chicken marinated by Areena

It was a bright sunny day, despite being summer the wind was cool near the river bank. Great talking and immense conversations.

Enjoying food and sunshine

More random snapshots, Areena BBQ-ed herself with Kenji the chocolate model

Candid shot when Eelin was trying to rape Areena and Dennis imitating a plant, flower fetish do not ask me why.

We had fun near the lake, really R-E-A-L-L-Y lots of fun as you can see.

Had endless chit chatting by the river bank with heaps of Russians fishing and sun bathing.

That ends another magnificent day with my awesome batch mates

Present

iPhone 4

Just witnessed Steve Jobs live from WWDC 2010 on his official launching for iPhone 4.

I AM SO EXCITED AND I SWEAR I'M GOING TO GET ONE FOR MYSELF IN THE FUTURE.

Fur Ball

There was a cat exhibition at a theater building, where we usually attend our Sunday church service. As cat fanatics, Jun & I decided to go check them out. We were practically like lunatics snapping pictures of cats, I was on sky high admiring all these lumps of fur balls.

Uberly cute. The cat in the first picture was freaking 12kg!

Eventually, we didn’t know that we needed tickets in order to enter the exhibition [yes, we slipped in from the side]. So next thing you know, we were chased out by some lady who asked where’s my ticket.

Stoned at Jun’s place next with Kelvin, Mike, Hsu Zane & Lily.

Sis was fooling around with my phone. Once again a great day!

Stuffs

The heat is on

It is almost impossible to take afternoon naps now, lying on the bed with the window widely open seemed like sun bathing or worst, grilling.

It gets worst when nights comes, though it only gets dark outside around 9PM but it seemed to me that mosquitoes in Russia are hundred times smarter and viscous than those back home. It’s akin to some alien invasion.

Just got my stuff from eBay today along with Lily’s stuff, bought myself iPod Touch covers for a dead cheap price compared to those sold in Apple retail stores. Now I have 8 different coloured covers for my iPod, minus 2 pink ones which I gave to Lily.

Jail broke my iPod thanks to Sharifah, makes me love it even more now. I can install applications and 3rd party applications as well as putting my notes inside it. No wonder I see seniors cramming and studying with their iPods and iPhones.

More leaked pictures of the latest iPhone 4G here and here. Tempted to get one for myself but then… reconsidering it since my n78 remains faithfully to me though it sometimes did pissed me off when it’s partially paralyzed.

At the meantime, 6th year seniors are stressed with final exam hassle, as well as all the other seniors. As for us, finals will only begin this July but with the piling work and tests we’re facing so frequently… it makes no difference serious.

90210 and Justice League as my entertainment, I need more dosage of sleep and therapy.
