Child Abduction

After the dismay case of Nurin Jazlin Jazimin whom was sexually abused before her death, here comes another similar case on the disappearance of a 5 year old girl, Sharlinie Mohamad Nashar. Malaysians are currently loosing the most crucial element of a human’s life – Morality and Love. In September, Nurin’s dead body was found naked stuffed in a gym bag after being sexually abused… it was only less than a year and now another innocent child is left astray somewhere in a fraction of this world. According to the papers Sharlinie went missing on Wednesday from a playground near her house, and her sister claims that she saw a woman dragging Sharlinie into a black car. Many speculations and investigations have been made on her claims and yes…people are turning insane nowadays.

Another tragedy like Nurin’s case certainly cannot be repeated and I can sense how the government handles this issue…Sharlinie's disappearance was front page news Friday in all newspapers, English language Star and the New Straits Times devoted four pages to the news. The interesting is that Dad even received an MMS with Sharlinie’s face on it, not forgetting the myriad numbered commercials showing on television screens and the recent Interpol help. Deputy Tourisms Minister Donald Lim Siang Chai even offered a big sum of money to anyone with information leading to her safe return.

Malaysia is desperately in need for CSI members.
