The Spring

After feeling deprived from The Spring for practically a week I managed to pace into the main gates of the fabulous building *finally…outpouring joy and gladness*. Dad circled his automobile for approximately 30 minutes before he could get a parking place. A one floor parking lot seriously caused many drawbacks to drivers especially one’s whom do not hold a great deal of endurance and patience. I leaved testimony on my furious anger as I spotted a Proton Wira that occupied 2 parking spaces!!! How pathetic of the idiot driver to park exactly between 2 parking spaces, not using his wretched pea-sized brain to figure out how much drivers were already loosing their temper searching for valuable parking spaces!!!!! There was a fantastic pool with “plates” moving up and down, and the elegance of clean water streaming down in a straight vertical motion. The first shop I dashed into was Quiksilver & Roxy, digging through pricey surf pants and flip-flops. I imagined myself consuming bare grass for the next 2 months if I had bought myself a pair of Quiksilver surf pants… how pitiful.

I entered Esprit and found myself searching attires for my mum, I had no intention to get myself tees thus I dedicated my time lurking through female clothing. Imagine a simple jacket can actually blaze a whole sum of RM400++?? My mum was most excited when she saw Nose, heels…pumps and heaps of bags. We wasted almost 45 minutes excavating the whole load of shoes and bags and ended up empty handed…*sigh*. Why do ladies love wasting hours of time searching for heels and nags and lastly ended up nothing? Then my mum proclaimed that the hundreds of cash she spent in Miri last holiday on heels and bags is sufficient for the new year…*even more sweats*. I even scrutinize a pair of RM60++ Nose earrings, akin to a pair of typical stones painted silver with a label “Nose” *sigh*. I saw my ex swimming instructor standing in front of Prima Vera, soon my dad was engaged with him in their tête-à-tête…did I mentioned that Prima Vera is owned by my ex swimming instructor??? *how despicable*.

I transmute myself into vapour and evaporated into Factory Outlet Store (F.O.S). There were like clusters of Ah Liens and Ah Bengs having their annual conference in side there, not forgetting a myriad of W (Weirdies) series and DD (dark dark) series of humans. I spent RM59.80 on a few leather bracelets and socks. The F.O.S bottle was gorgeous but alas…dad wouldn’t allow me to spend over a hundred just for the sake of the bottle. Parkson was tremendous, the first thing I saw were a row of Crocs!! Comes in a variation of colours and styles, and I simply fell in love with them *Jemuel and Seraphina must be hurling curses at me*. I got myself Charges pants plus other attires which I didn’t remember precisely and ended up burning RM90.80 from my wallet. I saw a pair of silver lining shoes from some anonymous Italian brand, only cost RM122.30 after discount!!!!! But mum forbid me to buy it since I just got my pair of Alfio Raldo shoes for RM110.90 (I wonder why did I blaze cash on those leather shoes).

There were other great outlets as well like Levi’s, K2Factory, Valentino, Lee Cooper, Habib Jewellery, The Watch Shop, Memory Lane, Giordano, Body Glove, Vincci, Guess, etcetera. Thank to God I finally found a place to smoulder in great items. Also, there were uncountable friends and acquaintances here at The Spring. I met Jason and his brother at Quiksilver, Lynn accompanied by her mother at Lee Cooper, Sharon and her family at the children section, Ee Ka with his gang at Parkson, Kong Fatt, Kian Kuat and Larry Bong and zillion more peoples.

Starbucks and Sushi King were lodged with humans, after existing in Kuching for 17 years a miracle happened. NO MORE WAITING FOR MONTHS FOR A VACATION TO KL JUST FOR SUSHI KING AND STARBUCKS *Praise the Lord!!* The Manhattan Fish Market would also be opening soon and I predict that 50% of Sushi King and Starbucks customers would sore into it. Kluang Station wasn’t that satisfying, not only was the food expensive, the taste didn’t seem to convince my taste buds as well.

My bill ended with a total of RM156.60 after a couple of hours in The Spring, thanks to Dad’s glorious credit card I managed to save quite a lot in my budget.

I’m currently broke!!! I’ll be living in extreme poverty for a period of time after spending RM446.60 (including my RM290.00 spectacles) in just 2 Saturdays…
