Budapest: Buda Castle, Fisherman’s Bastion & Matthias Church

One of the destinations I went in Budapest include Buda Castle. The only way up is by using the spectacular but very touristy and pricey cable car. As the cable car is rising up you get the chance to witness the beautiful view of Pest across the river.

In the courtyards of the Royal Palace, lie several statues and also the Matthias Fountain, no idea why everyone is sitting around this fountain doing nothing and interfering photographers; for those who couldn’t bother to care much about photos since I’m using a digital one, random snapping will do.

Snapped some pictures of remaining remnants as well when I was there, bridges that I tend to amble on several times to so-called reminisce historical past of Budapest [not that I know any].

Castle has really amazing status of gods. Neat, detailed artwork.

Fisherman's Bastion. This is the large white tower and lookout terrace complex you see hanging over the side of Castle Hill.

The building of the Matthias church, also known as Church of Our Lady and also a picture of one of my travel buddy, Eelin Tan. Edited a whole lot on toning because she was literally roasted due to Hungarian summer.

Walked down along the castle district and noticed more status. Had tea break at this coffee shop, the young lady was selling home made strudels with raspberry juice, I had one with cherries and poppy seed.
