Vienna: Grinzing & Shops

Grinzing, popular destinations for daytrips in a wine tavern located on the outskirts of Vienna. Located in the valleys in the foothills, it was such a bummer that the wine tasting session and all were closed down when we got there.

Nevertheless, the view along the way was splendid. Nice little churches and shops selling mostly antique and vintage stuff.

We dropped by at some place with farm animals whereby kids just hang around here with tour guides teaching them about animals and crops. City kids just never get the chance to see real animals.

A random menu board; and some really nice old church located somewhere in the city centre. Looks pretty faded after my itchy hands over-edited it by reducing too much shadow; but at least it’s visible now.

We had lunch at some restaurant, Mike never ceased the opportunity to take his ‘act-cool’ picture of himself from time to time since he’s normally the photographer with the DSLR.

We had traditional Austrian Beef Goulash with bread and white wine. The interior of the shop was really nice and vintage with old posters and dimmed lightning.

Headed for some shopping, who news malls when you can get streets and streets of outlets for you to shop till your pocket bleeds till it dries up.
