Slightly sleep deprived, indolent and slothful; I allow them to engulf me slowly from the inside not aware how critical can the side effects be. That’s why it took me weeks to complete this piece of artwork.
People used to wonder, why are all my artworks black/white/shading/plain strokes without any colour?
I am cognizant that the fact that I’m being too sluggish and lethargy to even bother to colour, personally adding hues and colours require much patience and attention. Every dab and swab needs to be done meticulously or else the whole thing will be smeared and finally you’ll end up with a dirty piece which I always have problem with and finally they end up rotting in the garbage bin.

This time I was patient and wanting to add some hues to it, just to add some sparks to the mundane life that’s been reverberating around me.
Materials: Stabilo coloured pens, wooden colour pencils, highlighters and lots of patience.

When I totally feel like doing nothing, only to sleep, eat and slack, lax and to feel lackadaisical. Notice how ‘knitted’ lines that I drew gives a welcoming ‘bed’ effect. Maybe not for others but me the self-proclaimed art connoisseur said so, thus it shall be it.
Mushrooms, yes! Mushrooms! Equivalent to laziness.

Added more contrasting colours just to bring all the different elements together and tie them into a big knot! Go wild and crazy with colours cause’ that’s how life is supposed to be, ignore the fact that you’re being watched or observed with suspicion.
Like art, they can be in any form, literally.

Times when I’m a dreamer with a huge cloud above my head, filled with dreams that I hope to fulfill someday. This is the space that I want to be in, free from the oppressive heat of hostile manners, discouragement, impaired hopes and false support.
Clouds and dreams seemed to correlate to one another, take time to let dreams shape themselves like clouds. With no limits.

Before I even realised, a piece of A4 paper fully doodled and amazingly coloured with thoughts and dreams resembling what I have to tell.
A story that persists through time, not understand by many but jocular and lighthearted for those to lay their eyes on it especially when life goes all hectic with books piling up abutting one another.
