Sick Note

The weather made it's statement, all loud and clear so that people from all walks of life can hear it scream. From sky to sky the sole thing that kept on moving is the sun. Standing mightily right on top in the centre of the sky, shooting it's flaming rays in all directions. The land is fiercely bleached in the menacing sun.

I might be suffering from brain damage, it's excruciatingly hot and uneasy for me to even begin my post; what more to say in such a poetic way. By some means I was inspired to do so. For those who kept track with me, I've been literally ill for the past few days. Blame on this merciless weather for causing my high fever and tormenting headache. I wasn't being able to get up from up due to the intense giddiness I suffered, everything was spinning in circles vigorously. It was like all delusional but agonizing at the same time.

Unfortunately, this illness is a formidable opponent that I failed to overthrown within a day and finally I had to skip class for a day. Feeling guilty and certainly remorse over the lessons I would left behind and fretful about the truckload of work I need to catch up. I was wrapped in my comforter akin to a cocoon all day long despite how bloody hot the weather is outside.

I didn't actually measure my body temperature but I can ensure that I could have melted the thermometer; by physical contact I think I may even scorch someone's epidermis. It was really hot, my whole body was boiling. I feared so much that I might suffer from brain damage, or even get affected by the recent epidemic that is currently spreading like wildfire - H1N1. It sent chills to down my spine, seriously.

After receiving proper medication and not to forget adequate rest, I am currently recovering at a dismayingly slow pace. I still have sore throat and slight influenza along with a dry cough. Sleeping is actually the best remedy to most sickness, I slept at 8PM that night and woke up only around 12PM the next day. I did find it difficult to sleep in tranquil through the night but still... physically I was being already dead.

I guess this is the pinnacle of this hot weather - to blaze and scorch everyone in the this country. Getting sick is the newest trend now! Have you got yours today?
