After 100 hours if intensive foreign language training, I passed my basic Russian language after the final evaluation last Friday. Looking forward to get my certificate and making my first step conversing with the Russian community.
It has been inevitably memorable experience learning Russian; all the tongue twisting pronouncing moments, I fell back in time being a toddler once again when I first began to talk. Everyone was like a retard in class, trust me.

We had a photo shooting session with my Russian Lecturer, Mdm Olga [ from left: Jaqueline Tham, Carmen Tham, Mdm. Olga, Abraham, Goldon & myself ]
Mdm. Olga and I
Everyone received a piece of postcard of Tomsk City, Siberia which was Mdm. Olga’s hometown. Allow me to translate : ‘Hansley, from Mdm. Olga your first Russian teacher. I wish you all the best, hope that you’ll be a good and happy doctor. All the best!’ the one with the ‘X’ symbol is my name by the way, spelled in Russian alphabets.
I managed to sketch a simple picture with everyone’s avatar in it as a present to my lecturer!
When are you going to draw a picture of me???
ReplyDeleteXOXO miss you so much!
