Due to a week of hiatus, I have entirely lost the momentum in blogging let alone the will to snap pictures because everything turns grainy and requires endless photoshopping. It took me 2 days to finish up this so-called post.
The feeling of post exams is immense; no need to study for the next 2 weeks or so; no need to wake up panicking with a hefty, substantial tonnage of momentum that constantly drills into your brain reminding you that you have no time for preparation and all you're facing is a red marked fail for finals. Been sleeping roughly six hours a day, for every day of the past week or so. It's been exasperating, for my eyes to snap wide open every morning while everyone else are still comfortably slumbering in their own beds, planning for an outing or so, enjoying their lives with endless picture posts tagged in some interesting place or maybe even a vain self-taken picture of a female with a short meaningless caption. Started off with waking up at 9 to start the so-called cramming until I gave up half way since I became conscious that instead of cramming, my eyelids slid off their grip for energy to stay wide open. Hence, blame the biology clock & irregular bowel movement.
I was feeling appalling and unsatisfied for Anatomy & Histology, honestly I did what I could for Anatomy and 3 semesters of effort paid off pretty well, I frankly divulged. It ended with a less than 4 days preparation for Histology and I died dreadfully on what was not asked in my question card, which maybe made me look like a complete dunce in front of my examiner. A chapter on Haemopoiesis on whether a 3% myelocytes in a patients body is normal or not, asking what are the precursors for myelocytes… There goes a huge portion of my marks for Histology. Nevertheless, the mucking exams are finally over; now to enjoy a winter trip with a couple of friends to Belgium and several other places. A day spent googling directions and printing maps to move around the city of Brussels on my day 1 solo trip. Apparently, I’ll be taking 14-hour bus ride from Volgograd to Moscow, and another flight to Riga for transit and finally Brussels all alone since my two other friends are taking a flight 24 hours later than mine. Long story short, I was a day late in booking my flight hence by the time I decided to book my ticket, the price got jacked up to nearly MYR500 more expensive. Bugger, therefore I stepped out bravely and decided to face the solo trip alone. Would definitely be one amazing adventure I hope?
Shall do my packing and printing tomorrow, self-reminding of other miscellaneous nonsense like food and etcetera. Speaking of which, I simply loathe Russian winter, it was all warm and chilly a couple of days ago until yesterday, it decided to drop the humongous displeasing freeze bomb of -23 degrees. Now I’m stuck in a dilemma of whether to drag my winter coat along all the way to Belgium or not since I will only be needing my trench coat there. To bring both and waste my 8kg of space or to freeze myself by putting on layers of thermal and a trench coat over while moving about in Moscow?
