Elista: Golden Temple Of Buddha Shakyamuni

Next stop, we visited The Golden Temple Of Buddha Shakyamuni. Elista is a filled occupied mainly by Mongolians. It triggered a strange feeling looking at familiar Chinese faces but none of them were able to communicate in Mandarin but only Russian.

There were golden statues of gods in different postures

Eelin & roller thingies that we're supposed to roll them

Some guy that I initially thought it was Confucius

Too bad we were not allowed to take any pictures inside the temple, it was amazing. Admiring their artwork and learning about their history despite the fact that we could only understand a quarter of everything since it was all in Russian.
