I was studying Biology in the studying hall 2 weeks ago until I felt a sudden chill down my spine, the next thing you know I was wrapping myself with 2 layers of thick blanket. Underneath, I was shivering like mad.

Soon after I was down with a high fever and wasn’t able to walk about to do much things. This condition lasted for almost a week without any recovery. Lastly, I headed to the nearest policlinic and they advised me to go straight to the hospital.

I was emitted to the infectious hospital for about 10 days. The high fever didn’t alleviate till day 3, my body was literally burning every night as my temperature shot as high as 39 degrees, which was pretty much serious.

I had shots, was on drips, given various vitamin injections. In addition, my level of leukocytes was too high compared to an average person. I seriously had no idea how serious my condition was but I’m sure the doctors were all prioritized in dealing with my case.

Seniors like Hsu Zane, Huey Yee, Xun Jin, Melvin, Hannie and a few more having their cycle there managed to visit me and send me food every day. But still life in the hospital was tormenting, facing four walls, with a bed so uncomfortable that it gave me body aches all over. The food was indeed overwhelmingly disgusting.

A huge thanks to Vainny for calling me all the way from Miri, burning her RM25 bucks. Chit chatting with cousin is priceless.  

I prayed almost everytime, at times I wonder why is all this happening to me? At this time especially. God managed to heal me, my fever was gone after a week in the hospital but eventually my blood infection still remain static. Luckily the doctor managed to discharge me a day before my birthday. Miracles do happen!

Now, my leukocytes are slowly recovering back to normal but sadly I still couldn’t get a proper diagnosis since the doctors have no idea what is the reason behind all my sickness. Maybe it’s God doing his work? I think so.
