Braces

Apparently I had to wake up at before 7AM but snoozed my alarm all the way until 7.15 when I realised “Shit! Class starts at 8AM!” Lugged my lethargic body out from the coziness of bed and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth.

For a split second my teeth were jolted and pierced, the immense unforeseen pain just stroked, at that moment I am aware that I actually have braces on.

It didn’t hurt that much after I had them on, well the tightening part wasn’t pleasing or whatsoever but I wouldn’t classify it as pain? Just a slight tinge of discomfort that's all. Rotted 2 hours having a Russian dentist performing surgery in my mouth, definitely not fun at all.

The whole procedure was a bliss, not much pain only discomfort. The feeling of having foreign object – metal, in my mouth. Irritating of course, my liquid diet officially started last night. My dinner consists of bread in milk and Dan Brown’s The Lost Symbol, happy now Kho Leet Liang?

Back to present, cleaning my teeth takes approximately 20 minutes compared to my regular 7 minutes. Including facial wash, adds on another 10 minutes… at sometime I think someone would hurled me out from the bathroom.

My braces like what Angelina Tan said “BARBIE DOLL, GREEN ALIEN, BLACK BEAR” consists on 3 colours – black, green and pink [ don’t ask me why ]

Back to the top, I WAS late for class, only when we arrived teacher informed that today’s session had changed to 10AM. Bummer! There you go, I wasted 2 hours of time walking, blogging, skyping instead of doing something more productive like SLEEPING.
