Rugged

A week has passed, it’s been harsh, rugged, rocky jagged and pitted.

Biology was pleasant, the only substandard point is that we need to change from the ‘trolleybus’ to ‘tramvai’ in order to head to another building – Morpho Corpus to attend Biology lessons. Our lecturer is so far, pleasant. Note that I am out of words for description but I do feel pleasant and stress-less in his class.

Am I even given any authority to judge university lecturers? I guess not. The gap between university and secondary school is beyond distance. Alright I better stay on my line before I digress from my tangent. Back to the topic…

Chemistry was a hell of a nightmare. Do not feel astounded about me saying that, no doubt that Chemistry is my favourite subject back in secondary school. But now, it has rebounded. 2 words to describe my lecturer, sadistic and sarcastic. We begin our classes with tests gave by her, followed by numerous questions shot by her again. In short, we’re required to be fully prepared for each of her lessons. It’s a dejecting case – SPARTA

Math, it’s identical like a shooting bullet! Notes, questions, assignments and we’re done with a topic. I need to congest every bit of information and digest it IMMEDIATELY, otherwise I’ll miss the train and there you go… another grave dug for my corpse.

It’s been pressuring, but compared to other seniors, I’m nothing but mediocre miniature termites fighting for a chunk of wood!

Other than that, it’s a Sunday and for the first time coming to Volgograd, I missed church service. Not intentionally, but I had a major headache after waking up at 10AM and headed straight to bed and woke up once more at 1.30 in the afternoon. I just released a whole ton of weight from my head – LIGHTER now.

Skyped with fellow friends having holidays now, feels great to be connected once more :) Made spaghetti with tomatos, capsicums and sausages for lunch and decided to do some finishing on my art.

Part of my awesome room mates, Mike & Abraham

A pile of unwashed clothes pending to be washed, I better start work N-O-W

  2. I know exactly how that SPARTA feels like. They expect you to be fully prepared and to go in and then listen and ask questions...and sit for test and score awesome. My calculus lecturer gives us open book tests but we never even have time to flip the pages! And we never finish in time. And when we suck, he looks so exasperated. I thought I give u guys open book!? He'll say. Hahaha...welcome to college.

  3. Exactly, so you know what we're going to do next, whenever the lecturer asked us whether we know a certain topic or not... we'll just say NO
I mean, us as in normal people.
The nerds will normally blow everything by saying "yes we know.. or they'll try to use different approach to SPEED the lecturer up when she's already like a speeding bullet. HATE THEM
